Cloudflare sells domains at wholesale cost plus the $0.18 ICANN fee — $10.44 for a .com, identical at renewal, with free WHOIS privacy and DNSSEC. Nobody undercuts at-cost. Namecheap — fine, if you watch the renewal
Namecheap’s first-year .com promos regularly dip under $7, which is the cheapest way to get a domain on this list — for exactly one year. Renewals land in the $15–$18 range depending on timing, roughly 40–70% above the flat-rate registrars here.
